ADAMANTIUM== Adamantium is a nearly indestructible metal alloy, possessing varying durability. Its property is impregnable and its diamondlike hardness is outmatching even against Vibranium or other known metal alloys.
Prior to molding it, the components of the alloy are kept in separate batches, in blocks of resin while being prepared as melted blocks together, mixing the components as the resin evaporates.
The alloy must be kept in an eight-minute time period before its extremely stable molecular prevents it from being further molded after the initial procedure ( even if the temperature is high enough to keep it in liquid state). In its solid state, it is colorless ( more gray), shiny, and resembles high-grade steel such as titanium. It is almost impossible to damage it while being in this state and if unknown forces such as laser blasts are targeting it, it is capable of deflecting the laser with minimal application of strength. It is partially magnetic, as Magneto maniqulated it on multiple occasions.
Despite its utility as being very good in the creation of weaponry and armors, adamantium cannot be used because of its rareness, high cost and inability to be reshaped ( though this was proven to be false as Stryker managed to shape adamantium in form of bullets, the same bullets who causedWolverine's memory loss).
History
During WWII, the Soviets wanted to create the 'perfect' soldier who would be capable of surviving where no man can. They experimented on many subjects, all proven to be dead in the end of the monstrous procedures, except one man named Arkady Rossovich who survived because of his limited healing factor unknowingly caused by a mutation. After creating the 'perfect killing machine' , the Soviets didn't realize that they made a monster and because of Rossovich's mental instability, he was purposefully weakened by carbonadium in gas state and frozen while vulnerable, his body being hid only when the KGB managed to get hold of him.
While this was considered only to be a rumor, col. Stryker was convinced of the existence of this metal alloy, and as the rumor says that the Soviets got it from Africa, the former would use his authority to trespass the territory, using Team X as a mean of surrender. Then it was discovered that adamantium is actually part of an asteroid that crashed a long time ago, during World War I ( after which was discovered as an alloy only after WWII by Kenji Oyama).
